Minority Cell

The Minority Cells mission is to support and strength the college’s minority groups in all of their extracurricular, co-curricular and academic endeavors. The purpose of the cell is to support the holistic development of students from various minority communities.

Objectives

To uphold the protection and reservations guaranteed under the Indian Constitution.
To handle and resolve complaints/grievances from minority category students.
To take such measures for achieving the objectives and targets laid down by the government of India and the U.G.C. as well as to make the minority students aware of various scholarship programs of the state government.
To create a friendly space that fosters, diversity, inclusivity and equal opportunities for academic and personal development.
To promote enrollment in career orientation programs that will equip and empower them with the skills needed to select a career path that is right for them.
To recommend appropriate measures for safeguarding the interest of minority students.
To provide support services, collaboration timely counselling for any spontaneous distress arising an account of any event at the campus.
To organize regular meetings and keep records of all such meetings and any other relevant events conducted in this regard.
