The College Magazine is issued once in a year under the guidance of competent Board of Editors. The Magazine provides a platform to the students for expression of their views in Hindi, English, Urdu & Sanskrit
There are some associations in the College, the Cultural, the Literary, Science & B. Ed, which cater to Cultural and Literary needs of the students and are looked after by the representatives elected by students.
Many awards instituted after the name of some revered teachers of the College are given to deserving students.
All the State and Central Government Scholarships according to the rules are available for students. A generous provision to help meritorious and poor students exists in the College, besides, Government Scholarships which are available to College students, number of other stipends and grants are awarded by individuals, local bodies, and philanthropic organisations. The Principal at her discretion admits a number of students as free or half free scholars. She is empowered to admit 10% free and 15% half-free scholars. The concessions under Government rules can be availed only on the basis of MERIT and POVERTY.
Students with marks less than a second division cannot apply for the concession. Students receive concessions on the basis of the last examination and not as a right. They have to maintain a good academic standard.
All Scholarships and Stipends are awarded to students on the distinct understanding that they will make a proper use of their time and opportunity. This rule applies also to concession in fee. Breach of College discipline or unsatisfactory progress in studies will make a student liable to forfeit her stipend, scholarship or concession in fee.
A Scholarship holder shall not be eligible for a Freeship (Full or Half) and such concession if held shall be withdrawn with effect from the month in which a scholarship or stipend is first drawn. If a merit scholarship holder is awarded a National Scholarship, the amount of such scholarship payable to her shall be reduced from the amount of such scholarship and the amount thus saved shall be utilised for giving scholarship to other deserving meritorious students in accordance with the rules.
Accommodation is provided to students in the Dayanand Shramjivi Girls Hostel which is quite close to the college. Separate application may be made to the superintendent of the Hostel. The Hostel has a capacity of 300 and is equipped with basic amenities and student related facilities. The hostel provides recreational facilities in a lush green environment, and also ensures the safety of the students.
Provisions for playing Volley-Ball. Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Basket-Ball and Indoor Games exist in the College premises.
For proper conduct and supervision of various games and sports, there is a Physical Education Department. Games and Sports are vital part of the life of the College.
Smt. Dhararani Library is a fully automated Library to enable the Students and staff of the college in their studies as well as research work. It has a collection of 90,000 books, 320 journals, 18 magazines, 110 audio visual aids and 6 daily Newspapers.
Users can access the information through OPAC (online public access catalogue) in and out of the Library. DELNET service has been subscribed by the library to access the huge number of E-Journal as well as E-books.
It has a multistoried building with equipped reserve and periodical sections. The Library has a Lab of 12 computer systems on LAN. It also has a Xerox machine.
