Dayanand Girls’ PG College has always strived to work for improvement of society in all possible forms. In that endeavor, we are continuously giving our little contribution at local level for the conservation of our planet because we strongly believe that little efforts can produce big results.
To educate, create awareness and motivate the students we constantly organize programs like sapling plantation followed by its care till it grows strong, organizing workshops where students learnt about renewable energy sources and also did DIY to make their own Solar lamps. The Government’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyan is one of our key motives to keep our surroundings clean and our campus free from trash and litter. We also keep coordinating with people working with energy conservation and providing information about renewable energy sources. Following this drive, we educated more than 1000 students. As a result, we received the prestigious World Climate Clock which keeps ticking to create awareness and motivates us to continuously keep doing our bit of effort for securing the Planet and future generations.
