The SC/ST cell embodies our institution’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and addressing historical injustice faced by marginalized communities. It serves as beacon of hope, ensuring that every student, regardless of caste or tribe, receives equitable treatment, support and opportunities of growth.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the SC/ST cell include:

Facilitating access to educational resources, scholarships, and support services for students from SC/ST backgrounds.
Advocating for the rights and interests of SC/ST communities within the college and beyond.
Fostering awareness, empathy and understanding among the broader college community regarding the challenges and aspiration of SC/ST students.

Functions

Providing platform for dialogue, empowerment, and collective action to address systematic barriers and promote social justice.
The SC/ST cell facilitates access to educational opportunities, scholarships, stipend and financial assistance schemes provided by the government or other organizations.
In cases of discrimination harassment, or social conflicts involving SC/ST students, the cell serves as a platform and conflict resolution ensuring fair and just outcomes.
The SC/ST cell organizes awareness programs, workshops and training sessions for SC/ST students.
The cell also support SC/ST students in accessing scholarships, financial aid and other resources to enhance their educational journey.
Guiding students through the application process and ensuring they receive the benefits they are entitled to.
